It hasn't come up in the Tregear news alerts yet, but a house up on Nella Dan was burnt down night before last. Someone a few doors up from it told me. She was woken by the noise and jumped up to call 000. It took some time to work out what happened, but apparently a bloke was living there with his kids and no one knew for sure if they had got out for a while. Somehow, by the next morning, someone had found out that the fellow had taken his kids over to his older daughters place and left them there, and then come back to poor petrol all through the house and torched it! He left. He wasn't suiciding. He's been arrested and gone to court and it's said they are going to psych assess him. At least one person is of the opinion that he didn't want to clean up...
Now for those of you who weren't involved the other night you've seen it here first! It isn't coming up on the Google news alerts, and it isn't on the rss feeds from the local papers. It might be on the police news site, but I can't get the site to load. I know it wasn't on tv...

The oldest child of the man involved in the tregear house fire has spoken to me. she has commented the hi was in a sycotic state due to his medication being stollen from him the night befor the incodent, He is not a drug usesr and did not delibratley leave his childdren at his daughters home so he could set fire to his own.The children were all staying at her place as one of his children was giving birth.The case is still going through the courts and it is still not clear how the Fire statred and if it was delibrate.
I am happy to publish the calm comments but you all should know that while I'm not publishing the comments threatening violence I am keeping them. Put your threats in writing and if anything odd happens they will be given to the police. Those of you who are being calm should talk sense into the others.
people of nella dan av tregear may not be pleased to know that the burend out house (41) will not be pulled down.If you go on the domain web site and look up auction in Trgear you will see that it is now for sale.The dep of housing dont want to pay for the removal of the property.NOTE: who knows how much longer we have to endure the painfull reminder now!
looks like they finley put up a fence but even for me at the age of 24 i still find it hard to accept that this could have happend.Granted no lifes were lost this was still a tragic occation for me and my children.I cant sleep at night im constantley making sure that the smell of fire is onley in my mind and not in my own home.my dad is still in prison insted of hospitle and my little girl cant understand why she cant stay with him when our one visit is finished even know he has still not been convicted of anything.Sadley to addmit that my dad may not have been prince charming and yes he can be verry frustating to be around or even hold a conversation and his opinions far fetched at the end of the day he was and still is a verry good kind hearted and pasionet father and i miss him i miss the arguments it kept me sain i miss the company even if it meens a head ach and its so hard to start again because the image of our dad reflcts us its not fair that we all miss our dad if that doesant explian our miss understood dad what will?
