If anyone can explain the logic of the 'bus lanes' going into Ropes Crossing I'd be interested in hearing what it is. I know several people who can't be bothered driving around the long way to do shopping. I wonder if Coles knew what was happening? You can tell they are struggling a bit as it is. No doubt IGA will be happy again.
So if you know anything, or if you have an opinion, drop me a comment, one that I can publish.

Normal winter
I keep waiting for the frost, thinking it's really late, maybe it's an unusually warm winter, but when I look back over the blog I realise this is pretty normal at least for the last couple of years. We get a frost or two early then lots of rain and cloud cover in May and early June, then the weather clears and the next frost, and the really cold weather, hits around mid June. It's on the way, it's really not late at all! So when? Later this week or early next week. Pretty much as soon as it dries up we'll get really cold.

The frost is back
Yesterday, walked into the reserve to check - frozen grass! Today, none, but it'll be back!
Have pics of the big fire down near Debrincat, but I have to get them off a phone before I can post them.

8 years old can be so hard
I don't know who you are lovey, but what has happened to you is so unfair. I wish for you never to go through anything that bad again, and that you should be able to grow up to have a great life. Do what you want, live how you want. You are not alone, and know that where ever you are the good feelings of millions of anonymous people go with you. None of us know who you are but we all care. Huge hugs for you.

Drainage works cleanup?
You may have noticed all the works equipment has dissappeared from the end of Ellsworth Drive. I was about to write about the mess that was left behind but this morning I see what seems to be a cleanup effort. We'll have to wait and see how much they manage. Besides the piles of dirt and gravel are they going to take care of the dodgy makeshift fencing? We're watching

Dust
Wow, walking out this early into this mad light is so weird. Took me a minute to realise it's dust. Now I'm feeling it in my mouth and nose.
A good day to stay inside.

The Festival
I got up there about 9.30am and there didn't seem to be a lot happening. Smaller than last year. I couldn't stay long as i had somewhere else to be. I hope everyone that went had a good time. At least the rain held off this year.
As i was leaving the performers were just setting up. Didn't get to see any of them this year.
